Daily iChing Sunday 10-11-2026

Here is your daily summary for Sunday, October 11:

Yang Earth Horse (Wu Wu) Day Energy: Today is a Wu Wu (Yang Earth Horse) day. The heavy Yang Earth heavenly stem sits directly atop the blazing Fire of the Horse. This creates an incredibly strong, charismatic, and fiercely independent energy, but one that can quickly become stubborn if pushed too hard.

The "Receive" Officer (Shou Day): In the 12 Day Officer system, today is a "Receive" (Shou) day. Following yesterday's launch-friendly "Success" energy, the Qi now retracts. This is an incredibly auspicious day for collecting debts, gathering resources, and accepting the rewards of your recent hard work.

I-Ching Focus – Hexagram 36 (Darkening of the Light): The elemental interplay of Earth covering Fire aligns with Hexagram 36, Ming Yi (Darkening of the Light). The wisdom here is profound: when the environment is complex, hide your brilliance. It is a day to be quietly competent rather than showing off or seeking validation.

Harvesting Tech Data: Apply the "Receive" energy directly to your tech stack. It's an excellent Sunday to let your n8n pipelines pull in and organize data, or to use NotebookLM to ingest and summarize the Claude Code logs you generated over the week, rather than pushing new code live.

Property Management Collection: This is the perfect energetic window to review rent rolls, collect outstanding deposits, or securely file away the signed contractor agreements for your rental properties. Focus entirely on gathering resources inward.

Clashing with the Rat: The Horse natively clashes with the Rat in BaZi. If you have Rat placements in your chart, the heavy Earth/Fire energy might feel emotionally stifling or trigger sudden travel friction today. Counter this by leaving early for any errands around the Bay Area and refusing to rush.

Veiled Content Strategy: Hexagram 36 advises keeping your light protected. If you are working on project reports or drafting business strategies, focus on behind-the-scenes research and backend optimization today. Save the bold, provocative article publications for a more outward-facing day.

Harmonizing Earth and Fire: The Horse's intense Fire naturally creates more Earth, which can feel stagnant or "scorched" if left unbalanced. Introduce sleek Metal elements to your workspace or stick to a highly minimalist aesthetic today to safely drain this excess heaviness and keep your mind sharp.

Favorable Action Windows: If you need to request a favor, collect funds, or quietly gather information, the Goat/Sheep hour (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM) offers the most harmonious timing today. Strongly avoid the Rat hour tonight (11:00 PM – 1:00 AM), which will trigger the daily clash.

Comforting Sunday Anchor: To physically ground the heavy Yang Earth energy, secure a comforting, high-quality breakfast—perhaps an almond pastry from Starter Bakery or a surprise bag via Too Good To Go. Enjoying it quietly at home perfectly honors the inward-facing, protective energy of Hexagram 36.
